Isaac Rayment was brought in for a second year to create a high impact installation at the Art Gallery of Ontario’s annual Art Bash Gala. For this installation he strayed from the digital and wandered into the physical where he created a large format kinetic mirrored sculpture that tracked and moved according to the guests interactions. It had 36 custom mirrors on motors that tracked with the guests movement as well as 1000s of pixel mapped LED that were also reactive and responsive to movement. In the center of the sculpture was a projection mapped centerpiece that took a camera feed in of the guests and converted them into celestial mirrors – also tracking their motion with dreamy light trails. As well in the space was 2 large infinity mirror crystals with impossibly complex geometry, when the guests peered into the endless geometric chasm, they were hypnotised.
