BIOGRAPHY IN BRIEF

| ISAAC RAYMENT |

Immersive Media Specialist | Innovative Creator

Isaac Rayment is an immersive media architect, creative director, and technologist operating at the bleeding edge of physical-digital convergence. Defined by an obsession with testing boundaries and pioneering unexplored mediums, Rayment has spent over two decades reframing how audiences engage with story, space, and human interaction. From early days directing award-winning music videos to building custom spatial hardware and deploying AI-driven art installations, his career is a study in relentless, multi-disciplinary innovation.

THE EVOLUTION: FROM SCREEN TO SPACE

Rayment began his creative journey in traditional media, establishing Hybrid Productions and building a multi-decade legacy directing live concert broadcasts and music videos for legendary acts, including Bon Jovi, Black Eyed Peas, Busta Rhymes, Willie Nelson, The Rolling Stones, and AC/DC.

Driven by a desire to break past the constraints of 2D screens, he pivoted into spatial computing and projection design. Moving to Montreal, he founded Four Eleven Digital, developing architectural projection mapping and interactive installations for global institutions and brands, including Cirque du Soleil, Nike, Budweiser, and Ubisoft. His early spatial work made waves at TED Talks Toronto, where his projection-mapped stage design led to an impromptu main-stage appearance to break down the mechanics of the emerging technology for attendees.

His international reputation quickly grew, leading to multi-month residencies and complex global projects:

  • Beijing: Served as international projection designer for the Broadway-style musical "Love U Teresa", constructing tracked rolling projection set pieces and holographic overlay systems.
  • Ibiza: Engineered and executed large-scale, responsive projection mapping series for top-tier venue activations.
  • Paris & Lyon: Captured full 360° 3D archives of historic exhibits (Assassin's Creed) and documented the elite Bocuse d'Or culinary competition for inclusion in the Netflix documentary "Merci Bocuse".

PIONEERING SPATIAL COMPUTING & HARDWARE

When Virtual Reality emerged, Rayment didn't just adopt existing workflows—he engineered new ones. Building custom 360° camera rigs, he tackled high-stakes spatial technical challenges across industries:

  • Medical Innovation: Partnered with surgical teams at Harvard Medical to build an immersive VR surgical training platform, placing medical students inside active operating rooms with real-time anatomical overlays.
  • High-Impact Experiential: Directed nationwide VR activations, including a custom Formula 1 cockpit simulator for Rogers Communications and immersive cultural documentaries.

With the rise of Augmented Reality and spatial AI, Rayment continued to expand the boundaries of physical media. He launched custom interactive AR campaigns for video game debuts (Ubisoft's Watch Dogs and Starlink), created holographic print activations for rock icon Paul Stanley (KISS), and engineered AR interactive cards for NBA stars Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nickeil Alexander-Walker.

PRESENT FRONTIER: AWE-NEST & FINE ART SYSTEMS

As CEO and Co-Founder of Awe-Nest, Rayment designs bespoke, responsive environments that merge kinetic physical structures, real-time computer vision, generative artificial intelligence, and spatial audio.

His fine art and gala installations continue to redefine human-machine interaction:

  • Hall of Mirrors (Art Gallery of Ontario): A large-format kinetic sculpture utilizing 36 motor-driven tracking mirrors, thousands of pixel-mapped responsive LEDs, and real-time projection feeds that transformed guests into celestial mirrors.
  • Minds in Motion (AGO Gala): A cutting-edge brainwave-sensing installation that captures EEG data (Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Theta waves) from world-class creators and translates them through proprietary AI generative pipelines into living video sculptures.
  • Moons of Salome: Served as Lead Creative Director in partnership with Lighthouse Immersive (producers of Immersive Van Gogh), reimagining Oscar Wilde and Strauss' classic opera into a 360° projection experience alongside lead soprano Ambur Braid.

INDUSTRY & THOUGHT LEADERSHIP

A dedicated technology evangelist, Rayment serves as the Chapter Lead for the Augmented World Expo (AWE) in Toronto and frequently lectures at top academic and industry platforms on the future of storytelling, spatial computing, and interactive design.
